I enjoy writing children's stories and they fall into three basic categories:
STORIES ABOUT THE NATURAL WORLD - Anthropomorphic fable-like stories in which little creatures have adventures. These stories teach children about some aspects of nature. Here is an example: The Lost Tail
STORIES ABOUT CHILDREN HAVING ADVENTURES - These stories were written for the children in my family but can be enjoyed by others. Here is an example: Joshua and the Flying Parrot
STORIES INVOLVING THE FERRY-BOATS ON THE RIVER TAGUS -These are bilingual stories in English and Portuguese that involve the ferry-boats having adventures. The first of these has already been published and is entitled: Freda and Fernando on the River Tagus/ Freda e Fernando no rio Tejo
PLAYS - I enjoy writing plays too and started because I wanted to do plays with the children I teach but couldn't find anything suitable for the level, age and number of children in the class. Here is an example: The Three Billy-goats
As an EFL teacher I produce lots of materials for my classes and I am happy to share some of them with you. Here are some examples:- Click on the title to see or download in Microsoft "Word" .
